The organizer currently offers Category 1 entry through 7 December 2026 for runners meeting strict qualifying standards and JAAF registration. Categories 2-4's initial entry closed on 10 September; a limited second round is scheduled for 4-10 November and is not yet open on 3 November. Entry is not unconditional, and overseas channels must follow their own instructions. The 15km, 20km, half, 25km and 30km marks in the rules are intermediate certified results for marathon finishers, not separate race categories.
