The official site announced recruitment stopped on 26 August after 5,000 marathon places were filled; the current overseas provider also explicitly closes entry. The full marathon starts and finishes by Matsue City General Sports Gymnasium; the 4.4 km fun run starts at the Lawson Gakuen Minami intersection and finishes by the gym. The Japanese programme allows full-marathon ages 18+ excluding high-school students, while the overseas page uses 19+; confirm the rule for your entry route. The fun run accepts junior-high age or older, with guardian consent for students.
