Check this before entering
The relay is five 5 km legs, a 25 km team total—not a full marathon and not 25 km per runner. Relay entrants must be junior-high-school age or above; the parent-child category pairs an elementary-school child with a guardian. Both pair runners cover the same 2 km course; their distances are not added together. The organizer-linked SPORTS ENTRY edition lists the running categories as accepting entry through 31 December 2026, 23:59 JST. Confirm category capacity and overseas pack arrangements before travel.
