The city announced the ordinary 25,000-place programme full on 22 September 2026. A later Furano City invitation offers three places to adult Furano residents, with applications until 12 November; this is not a general reopening. Current stock in that restricted allocation is not guaranteed. The half is for ages 17+, the 10K for ages 12+, and under-18s need guardian consent. The 5K has no age limit. The programme also includes a separate inclusive 5K category. Check the rules for the correct allocation.
